just tried facebook and notice that i'm getting a lot of spamy emails and getting emails from alarming lookin people asking me to date them. Anyone else hold these problems on facebook. Also is there away to block spam emails?
Answers: Well, you brand name your profile private so people can't 'creep' it and look at adjectives your pictures. They will be able to see you profile pic tho and they will know how to email you.
When in FB, budge to the top right where it say 'privacy' - under Profile and Basic tweaking the settings so either not a soul sees the info or simply friends. Then, more importantly, under Privacy progress to 'Search' privacy and uncheck 'send you a message'.
That way everyone who see your profile will have to donate you to their friends (where you can decline if you dont know them) before they can even dispatch you email!
