MSN Problem. I cant recieve instant messages from some contacts on my contact list unless I message them first please relief so i can recieve messages without messaging them first

check if you own some kind of virus, (scan your pc) if you are running a p2p (emule, ares) ,these use a lo of bandwidth when runnign full speed, .. (in this covering, slow down the p2p and restart the router) ..
check if you installed a skin, scipt, plugin, animated display or sth. recently .. that might be the rationale ..
check if the versions MSN is according to your operating system and hardware
when nought helps, restore system to a date when your MSn worked resourcefully..

Ok ... first of all - progress and update the msn to windows live messinger .
It also would aid to see if your status is set to "online" ...
Also - if you have messinger discovery , it might own something to do with it .
Download Windos Live Messenger and install it over your MSN. Then you can receive and transport messages even if you are off queue.
Try pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete, then shift to Processes and find the process that says "msnmsgr.exe", right click, press End Process.
After that, log vertebrae in and see if it works.
If it doesn't work, communicate me or message me.
