I have be using windows live messenger for fairly a while now, but a few of my contacts name have not changed even though they hold changed them and they have be the same on my contact record for about 6 months, i know it isnt freshly me that this is happening to because my describe hasnt changed for a few people for in the region of 5 months, does anyone have a clue what is arranged and how i can fix this problem? Thanks for your help.
Answers: It is becuase they are not online - only wait until they become availible.

you could try re-installing window live messenger and see if this helps at adjectives.
sometimes the name you hold for a contact doesnt change untill you are both online at indistinguishable time.
Either because they aren't online, or because they arent using the offcial MSN.. maybe something resembling Meebo or Imo which dont let you make over the settings - they have lower resolution, and are primarily like MSN v.1
I have the same problem.
Right click them,
Then click append nickname
Delete whats be put in
Then press enter.
The label should change straight away.

well possibly they havnt changed there name, maybe they aint be online or if you clicked to give them a handle then it won't revision until you delete what you wrote x hope that helped x
