a band added me on myspace. theyre a pretty popular nouns .. but its strange band would join me.. :S

Answers: Maybe they want some more fan, or more plays/views to their profile.
This is normal, the band are just looking for unmarked fans. It's freshly a modern way of hype. The idea down it is that you hear their songs on their myspace page and then they would hope that you'd be interested adequate to start buying their albums, going to their gigs, etc.
I understand that they convey the requests to people showing dependable interests or who are already fans of similar genre.
Yeah, they send out automatic friend requests or doesn`t matter what...
It's normal, but you don't enjoy to grant them as friends...
...Unless you're discussion about going on to a band's profile and tally THEM.
Don't get excited. It's not the nouns themselves that are on there, patently. It's a webmaster or PR guy they hire for their fan underneath.
I have copious bands as "Friends" on MySpace.
yeah but if in attendance someone extremely popular like uhm breaking benjamin or nickelback or something for example, next there probably of late fans.

It happens seriously. You can prevent any band from calculation you by going to: Edit profile --> Account Settings --> Spam (tab) ---> Go to EVENT INVITATIONS towards the bottom of the page and uncheck "bands". Hope this helps.
its common bands are other looking for more fans if your afraid of it man a scam or somethin dont give out personal information its approaching internet rules 101
