I a short time ago get my unknown Dell Inspiron desktop. It detects my wireless meet people, but it won't connect. I know the wireless is working because it works on two other computers in the house.
-The bright computer have Vista on it
-The web is WPA protected
-When I attempt to connect it say "Windows cannot connect to BandL (my wireless network)"
-When I click on 'Diagnose the problem' it say "Wireless association one-time because Windows did not receive any response from the wireless router or access point."
---When I click on the troubleshooting route it give me these option, which don't give the impression of being to be the effect of the issue: "your computer is too far from the router" (I enjoy excellent strength); "the wireless router or access point is turned off" (I'm using it right presently next to another computer); "There is interference from other devices" (nope); "the see you are looking for is set to not broadcast its SSID" (my computer detects it basically fine)

you read out its WPA protected, did you enter the switch on your strange PC?

Most plausible you didn't enter adjectives of the parameter contained by correctly. check the SSID you used, the password and the format (ensure its WPA protected on your laptop).

Switch the wellbeing from WEP to MAC Filtering. I have a similar problem next to a system and this solved the problem. MAC filter is more in safe hands surrounded by my evaluation, and once you enjoy connected the PCs you can turn bad the SSID and they will still connect well.
Reset your router and adjectives option by adjectives its power I've have to do this when buying a foreign PC. If the problem persist later it finances Windows Vista is blocking the Internet in some road. Also signal strength reading are fairly unreliable
