Answers: Wrong sticks of hit OR

Is you mobo dual culvert? if so, look surrounded by the mobo book to see how your bump is supposed to be inserted.

Usually (dual channel) red and ginger or blue and blue NOT ginger and blue (if those are colored resembling yours, boards vary)

If not dual conduit, spawn sure that the strike is matched pairs, some compaq's are especially picky on run into complementary. Not that you hold a compaq, but conceivably something similar.

Also, brand sure that your run into that you are putting in is impossible to tell apart as what is contained by nearby. Like PC2700, you own to receive another stick of PC2700 or BETTER

Hope this help.
take it to a tech, getting the right big-hearted of hit is major
Your run into have a memory your computer primarily be not designed to read 256 mb of bump i suggest you whip the 256 mb knock against stern out.
Don't stress , turn your computer bad for awhile. It's of late overloaded at the moment.
well.you appear to enjoy discouraging memory. if you didn't unplug the a/c and removed the freestyle if it's a laptop, you cause a voltage spike across the chip. here is a small amount of power running through the motherboard even when it's shut down.
