I own a TrendNet 54 MBPS 11G Wireless Router. I be at school(This happen economically over 4 months ago) and my mom be playing around beside the router(don't know why) and the router stoped working. We couldnt Figure out why. We've tried numerous times to try to find it to work.(Using our settings from before).
Log into the router by typing in 192.168.1.1 in a browser address railing.
Username: admin
Password: admin
Main -> WAN
Set Connection Type to PPPoE, enter username and password for connection
Wireless -> Basic
-SSID: Salem's Network (or whatnot)
Wireless -> Security
-Change Authentication Type to WEP
-Change Mode to ASCII
-Key 1: oscar (or whatnot)
Status-> Device Information
-Scroll down, hit the disconnect button, then connect
This is exactly what I do when I try to procure it working. But it never connects. Help?

Try to RESET the router and start over.
are you using IE or another browser,.. sometimes that make a difference,.. otherwise look within your LAN properties to manufacture sure the Microsoft make friends client box is checked
Ask her if it didn't dribble down, as here are markedly easily upset something could be displace inside (circuits), maybe nil to do near the setup, if you hold still your receive of purchase, try to step to the store and explain to them that it doesn't work, for a specialist to fix it.
