My wireless router is the through bottleneck near my internet, what can I do in the region of it?

I basically did two speed test, one beside the wireless connected and one beside the computer connected to the wall. Here be the results:'

Wireless:
Last Result:
Download Speed: 324 kbps (40.5KB/sec verbs rate)
Upload Speed: 478 kbps (59.8 KB/sec verbs rate)

Wall Connection:
Download Speed: 5865 kbps (733.1KB/sec verbs rate)
Upload Speed: 479 kbps (59.9 KB/sec verbs rate)

The wall nouns is far faster. Its in plain sight my wireless router is the chief bottleneck. Is nearby another router I could receive that would not slow the internet close to this? While still staying wireless? i enjoy an 802.11b router

There are things you could do.

Upgrade your lattice equipment. The most up-to-date technology promisse faster speed, greater ranger etc.

Get a range extender to increase both the signal and sometimes the speed.

Besides the hottest routers next to 802.11g works better and faster. it is time to settle a call on to your local favorite computer store.
