i enjoy a bunch of of associates (friends and family) using my lattice and needed to block myspace so anyone who go on my introduce yourself cannot use it. how do i block myspace from my lattice, so that anyone who uses my gridiron can't access myspace from it?

Go to Run on your computer
Typd within cmd and press enter (or run a command line)
Type ipconfig
Type the Default Gateway number in your internet browsers address block (the place where on earth u would write google.com)
Login if you know the password
Go to Access Restrictions
And at the botom youll see blank spaces where on earth you can put within websites to block.
Also if you own trouble getting into your ipconfig, the number SHOULD be 192.168.1.1
You hold to enjoy a proxy server to do this. The means of access we do this at home is that I enjoy a server running Squid/SquidGuard. All computer are blocked by the Linksys router/firewall from direct Internet access. All of the browsers are configured to connect to the Squid port (3124) on the proxy server. SquidGuard is what determines whether you're allowed to connect to the server.
My proxy server happen to be a Sun Ultra 5 running Solaris 9, but you could lately as glibly set it up to run on an elder PC running Linux.
In the address inn, type "192.168.1.1" (no quotes) and enter your username/password. The default are "admin" (no quotes) for both - I recommend varying them if you haven't. Then, dance to "Access and Restrictions" at the top and you'll hold option to block sites by URL and so forth.
go to a computer thats directly plugged into the router. Open the internet and type here contained by the address hotel

It will ask you for your username and password. Username is "admin" (no quotes) and password is any "admin" as evasion or what ever u chose the password to be. Once u log within, on the top ull see the tab call Access Restrictions. Click on it, walk to the bottom till u see "Website Blocking by Url". Then enter www.myspace.com later click liberate.
