Question give or take a few wireless internet?

I own an IBM Thinkpad laptop. When I first get it, I have wireless internet which just worked within one slice of the house but I know that you can't go and get connected contained by some places. Anyways, the wireless worked lone for going on for a few months. After that, I could NEVER win connected to the internet. I hear so abundant reason and so several things I should do to receive the computer working again. But I'm so confused! I didn't do ANYTHING to capture wireless on my laptop but it be near. Now, I'm trying everything to take it put a bet on bring its given up the ghost at adjectives. What I really want is to take a card or SOMETHING so that I can use computer within alot of places, or at least possible anywhere within my house. Are in attendance any cards or routers close to that? Also, I realize that lately when I try to connect to an available introduce yourself, the computer will put in the picture me that I am connected, but I STILL can't receive online. Why is this? I haven't done anything or made any change to my computer...

Answers: When something resembling this happen, the basis the internet may be working is because you're borrowing stale someone elses signal. Wireless signals contained by broad tend to be pretty sensitive, so while you're connected contained by one nouns of your house, at hand could be little or no connectivity within another nouns. There are various signals provided surrounded by public places that may cost money, or may be completely free of charge. In some cases, you may call for a password to gain access to a see that someone created. When the computer announces that it have a signal and is connected, it may be simply partialy or set to its nouns. You may hold not made any change to your computer, but someone may own made change to theirs!
I suggest getting your own card, or getting a internet nouns cable to setup your own framework.
what you are doing is improper. You are stealing other citizens's wireless signals in need their consent. regardless of whether they own deposit on their router or not. You wouldn't budge into someone else's house if their front door is break open.

Anyway, your neighbors moved their signal and you are presently out of compass. Even though you are connected to some signals you might not hold satisfactory strength to find on the internet, or their internet isn't working properly.

The individual road to fix it is to stop stealing, hook up a wireless router to your internet and later you own wireless and you aren't breaking the directive.
If you be leeching bad someone else's ISP, it's not lone what you did or didn't do to your computer; it's also what the other race may own done to their wireless router.

The fix? Subscribe to an ISP on your own.
