So I enjoy a Compaq V3000 laptop. When I first bought it the internet access worked fine. (I enjoy a DSL hub.) After around the second week it said the lattice cable is unplugged. I tried to connect to internet but still nil happen. I even followed the facilitate and support guide provided by compaq but zilch worked. I give up and in the region of a week next it come vertebrae. Now its out of action again. I thought that perchance by waiting a few weeks it would fix itself again but it still doesn't work. What should I do? My computer is one room away from the hub but even if i move right subsequent to it nought happen. I also tried moving the hub and the computer further away so in attendance wouldn't be any interferrence from the neighbor's connections but nought have worked. How can I fix this problem?

Try to connect your laptop to Wireless access at a local restaurant, coffee shop or public library to see if it works on a different router.
