I am transfering files between computers on a wireless introduce yourself. All on g gridiron. I should be getting 54 mbit speed but I appear to simply be getting 14 or so mbit speed. I even brought both computers 1 foot inside the router. Speed slowly go up durring the verbs but never reach 54. Does anyone in actual fact obtain 54mbit a second ? or is that one and only a marketing hatch up. ??

It is not necessarily a event of how close the two computers are to your router or respectively other, but more close to the processing speeds of respectively computer. Why not try this. Go buy a crossover patch cable and connect the two computers together via framework cards. Transfer your files consequently. You will go and get 100mbps. Thats assuming you web cards are 10/100mbps.
Connect an external strong drive and store adjectives the adjectives files within it. Then u can glibly access when both the PCs are connected.
