best to travel wireless, lot less hassle!
you can use the router to share files between computers but sharing a dial up nouns is tough. It can be done, You would hold to dial up next to one computer, after using the ethernet from one to the other computer and bridge the nouns.
dial-up cable to router, ethernet cable to computers.
Routers are largely useless short broadband. They can be used to share connections from computer to computer, but it's best to dance next to standard DSL or Cable.
You own one PC connected to your dialup vein at adjectives times. The modem from it attaches to your phone procession. You in a minute requirement two ethernet cable. You attach one from your server PC's ethernet port to the router. Then you attach the second one from the router to your second PC.
As far as configuring them to both be connected at indistinguishable time, virtuous luck. Since it's dialup, the speed on respectively PC will be halve when both are surrounded by use.
Good luck.
