turn to any computer store and ask for a "PC to TV" cord. it's call something, but i don't remember what it is. But they do exist, I own one.
Buy a TV tuner for your comp. (I individually use one made by ATI. Came near everything I needed to connect and full instrustions.)
if your workstation have S-Video you can receive a cord for around $10-$20. purely google S-Video cord and see if that is to say the port you enjoy on your laptop. It's a rounded port next to 4 or 7 metal pins in it. It'll turn into RCA (red/yellow/white) for most TV's. if you enjoy a newer TV that will embezzle hdmi, component, etc after you can obtain an s-video to hdmi cord
