ive tryed beside a crossover cable but it didnt work im not sure how to do it

Modern daytime discs are smart satisfactory to not permit you run it on two computers. Maybe try copying the disc?
You could find a cheap router and hook both of your computers into that.
You stipulation to label sure the computers see respectively other beside a cross over cable. Once it works, Starcraft should work.
