I have an idea that this have something to do beside a setting in the gateway or DNS. I am not sure how to configure this. I am competent to use another computer through like router to connect, so I know its not that. Also, I am competent to browse the internet fine after VPN have be shut down. Please Help!
Answers:
Right click on the VPN connector within your exchange cards connections, click properties. Then click on the network tab, next click on TCP/IP settings. Once at hand you should know how to click the ADVANCED tab beneath that you will find a check box on the "General" tab that says
"use defaulting gateway on remote network"
If the remote network does not supply internet access, uncheck the box and your local gateway will consequently be used.
That is within XP, Vista is similar freshly different approach to carry within since I dont own Vista handy I can just contribute you XP.
