I own a exotic laptop near wireless internet and i own a Motorola Surfboard SB5100 Cable Modem for internet. i threw the box and stuff away and i be wondering if in attendance be any route i could find the wep switch for my laptop, because the nouns requires a push button.

The motorola SB5100 does not enjoy Wireless capability.
You come by the Wep push button from the wireless router... If adjectives else fail on the router, you can do one of two things:
1. Identify the gateway on a workstation explicitly connected to the router, next budge into the administrative settings of the router to any disable or reset the wep key
2. Do a factory reset of the router, which after releases the wep switch (and in consequence make it unsecured)
If adjectives else fail, contact the router entrepreneur, but preserve surrounded by mind the SB5100 does not hold wireless built into it - I hold one and if it did next I wouldn't involve my Linksys WT54G wireless router.
