You can acquire satellite internet from Dish and Direc TV and it works rather very well provided you are not running any IPSec VPNs.
Cable providers don't usually provide cable internet for those who live in the country. It would cost them too much money to route cable to the few houses located outside of city limitations. It wouldn't be worth their time or money.
Also, as far as I know, ATT doesn't provide cable internet. Only DSL.
