Personally, I prefer the Linksys WRT54G's, especially hardware version 4 and hasty, fundamentally because they are hackable and you can put custom firmwares on them, make the addition of SD reader, COMM ports and the like to it. Also you can overclock them.

NOTE that when I right to be heard hackable, I denote as you can mod it. To hack something is a apposite point. I am a hacker and I give somebody a lift pride on it. I mostly hack hardware, modifying it to its full extent. Being a hacker is not duplicate as man a cracker, crackers are those who break into systems and deploy poisonous payloads, hackers are those who experiment and play around.
