Hi, I own a problem beside my Unwired wireless modem. my laptop can't capture a signal but other laptop can.?

i've done the wireless nouns entry, found a signal to my modem, tried to connect, enter the password, permitted and afterwards WAITED. eventually the popwindow that displays the Connecting Status disappears as if nil happen. how can i win it to work?


Answers: Make sure the driver is updated for your wifi card and walk from nearby. May not be the problem but it'll wipe out the possibility. It's the first article I'd try if everything else be set up correctly .

The problem here is not that you are not sufficiently expert to connect to the modem, but are powerless to retrieve another IP address. Most feasible you are just purchasing one IP address from your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Unless you purchase more than one IP address, you will be unqualified to connect more than one device that requires an IP address to the modem. There are 2 possible ways to travel more or less fixing this.

1) Purchase another IP address from your ISP, usually have a monthly cost, and you would enjoy to purchase as plentiful IP address as you have devices.

2) Purchase a router (wireless if needed) and connect that directly to the modem. The router requires one IP address and can assign hundreds of IP address to your other devices.
