I am so frustrated right in a minute.
I set up a framework for my kith and kin, and it works without blemish. If your using DHCP on the rest of the PCs cause sure you see it on the investigational one. is it ethernet? net sure you hold join status (usually a green light) on the router or switch and your PCs nic card.
once you build sure your TCP/IP settings below control panel > networkconnections > LAN adapter settings > tcp/ip properties voice automatically assigned (DHCP assigned) consequently reboot the PC plugged surrounded by to the switch or router.
Then Start > Run > type IPCONFIG /ALL and spawn sure your ethernet adapter have an IP adress. its probably 192.168.1.x something
