How do I hand down the domain on my laptop to interlace my home make friends? I can't set the gridiron up because it say I'm slice of a domain and I no longer call for that...

Make sure you hold administrative password or local story first.
Go to your desktop,
1. Right click My Computer and select properties.
2. Click on 'Computer Name' tab.
3. Click on 'metamorphose' button.
4. In 'Member of' , select workgroup instead of domain and donate a workgroup nickname of your choice.
5. Click OK and Ok again.
You will stipulation to reboot computer.
Use the drop index on logon to switch to this computer instead of the domain. Before you do this ensure you truly enjoy a local user set up beside admin rights, or you can lose control of the device.
