I currently own a BT Voyager 2110, as my house have fundamentally gelatinous walls I sometime find it difficult to pick up a signal when I am any distance from the router. What would the strongest router compatable near Winows Vista.

Lyksys a short time ago put one out,
and Apple's have one out for a few months (my inlaws who hold PCs LOVE it!). Another good thing is that near Apple's you can extend the capacity severely smoothly. Just buy one of the smaller foundation stations and configure it beside the software tools (it walk you through step by step) to set it up that track.
Their house be built surrounded by the 1920's so the reach wasn't the 300 max, but it did comparatively very well.

but i reflect on BT use belkin to create here routers
I would recommend the:
Belkin Wireless Pre-N Router, Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router near SRX, and Netgear Pre-N Wireless Router.
As far as Vista compatibility issues, masses if most routers have to do firmware upgrades. If you come to pass to buy a newer router, it'll hold the needed firmware.
I would also recommend trying to enhance your wifi reception.
Better to bring a ethernet over D system, it will work anywhere contained by the house beside full speed.

Hands down CISCO, best wireless router. Cisco's wireless stuff really amazes me next to how capably it works contained by some of the factory I've see, It go through THICK concrete and steel even within some spots. One Cisco AP = entire warehouse coverage. Yeah I know it's a bit pricier than that cheap home lattice crap, but I really doubt you'll be capable of find better wireless technology than Cisco's.
