So I hold the LINKSYS WRT54G wireless router running in my house. Currently I hold one basic computer attatched to it through a ethernet cable. The connections I own running to it wirelessly..are 2 iPhones, a PS3, a Nintendo Wii, and a Dell laptop. Of those wireless connections..merely the 2 phones and perchance the ps3/wii/laptop are ever on at like time. Yet I hold an issue where on earth any my laptop or my iPhones...any cannot find the router, or it finds the router and cannot connect to it. Or it connects to it...next to a thoroughly insipid signal (even though it's with the sole purpose similar to ten foot away)..that slowly dies..and consequently the router cannot be found again (but it continues to work clearly for the computer connected through the physical ethernet cable).
For some apology my PS3 and/or Wii never have any issues finding the router and/or connecting to it. If it matter everything connected to the router wirelessly is using alike shelter passcode (cus the other 3 won't work). Please back! Thanks.

Sounds approaching youre maxed out on the amount of assignable IP address. I cant amble you though it because I dont hold Cisco's firmware anymore but increase the bound of DHCP users/assignable IP addys to the # of devices that connect to the router.
If that doesnt work construct sure you hold the wireless Transmission Rate set to auto so the devices receive the proper background speed.
Sounds similar to you should be suspicious of the iPhones and the laptop and not the Linksys. Do they connect OK to other wireless access point?
Try unplugging and replugging the router, or buy a fresh one, resembling Apple's Airport Extreme (wireless a/b/g/n, $179) or its little bro, the Airport Express (a/b/g, $79.) I've hear the Airports are incredibly right and reliable (I live nearly 500 foot from my college and I can still connect to their elder AP.)
Sounds resembling a problem beside hardware save for the Router. Try them on some other wireless introduce yourself and see what happen.
Everything you are doing sounds okay. One thing to check might be the router firmware. I hold set up a few routers that after upgrading the firmware perform much better. Go to linksys.com and look up the most modern firmware for your router. In the router setup page you should be capable of see which performance is currently running on the router. If it is elder than the most modern magazine available, I would upgrade it. You should know how to find supporting instructions online for the upgrade.
