"You can connect to the Hub remotely - To do this, you'll inevitability to sgn up to DynDNS and create an statement. On the Home Hub, walk to Advanced, afterwards select 'Dynamic DNS' and enter the information details for your DynDNS statement. From another PC, you can enter the address provided by DynDNS to cinnect to the Hub remotely.

Many of the answers provided to you thus far are purely wrong.
The non-routeable IP address of the format 192.168.x.y where on earth x ranges from 0 - 254, y ranges from 1 - 254 are not routeable. These are not propagated on the Internet and are singular on the private side of the router.
Entering 192.168.0.254 appears to be the method to log onto your router from the LAN - NOT from the public Internet.
Some routers can be set up to be access from the internet next to the static IP address or next to the use of a dynamic DNS service domain. It really depends upon the router. Further, some routers require you to provide a port # as well as to the IP address to enter from the Internet. In adjectives cases the remote access have to be enabled as constituent of the configuration.
I own hear of BT tech. support engineers access both the hub and a connected computer remotely so I conjure up it is possible and probably set that route by defaulting.
