My girlfriend have of late bought a Linksys WRT54G wireless router so that she can connect her laptop wirelessly to the internet. She already have a ethernet BT Voyager 220V Modem connected to her PC. I tried for hours but I could not bring back the router to recognise the modem and that`s why connect to the web. Any tips on how to suucessfully contact this modem to the router ?

Tbh, it is easier if you swap the router you bought for one of the wireless router most internet companies furnish you. BT does that sort of give and it is not really that expensive (in some cases it is cheaper and partly the hassle).
