Well, me and my relatives be thinking give or take a few moving to WIFI but due to distance between PCs i cogitate the WIFI setup is gonna cost lots of money and WIFI ain't that hastily too, right? so i thought possibly we should progress for Giga LAN. I would prefer WIFI regardless of low speed but the distance from building to building is really puzzling and i believe we might necessitate to buy those expensive Antennas and Extender. So any suggestion?
P.S : we own around 15 PCs on our net.

You can answer your own question by determining how much background your putting on the server.
If your putting like mad of background 200MB -1GB at a time I would use a gigabit network
If your record sizes are much smaller and your foremost concern is internet speed I would run next to the WIFI.
I don't recommend going 10/100 anymore. With the price of larger Hard Drives coming down and the call for to verbs more notes faster I wouldn't use a 10/100 LAN.
Good luck

dun bother nearly the giga LAN unless you verbs loads and i really anticipate loads of files among the PCs. If in that is no such hustle and bustle and you are OK near transfering using portable knotty disks, it will be a better method.
You can stick to wifi, simply cos its wireless, give you mobility if you hold notebook, not rstricted to rugged wires.
Internet usage and such dun even bring up 10%, most of the time much smaller amount (usually below 2%) of your available bandwidth.
start --> run --> taskmgr, click on the network tab and monitor the grating tab to see.
So you can stick to current 100base, a moment ago incorporate on a wifi and you are covered for both wired and wireless.
i would install a gigabit switch near a router . that should back.
