I internet service is hooked to one tv outlet in upstair. same as my wireless router. but mostly I work at downstair and notes nouns is drastically slow. Would it be okay to make the addition of the second one at downstair?

This will impose conflicts and can stop your nouns. You can singular ruin one router on the nouns. Get a wireless catalogue extender, plug it into power somewhere between the router and your electrical device, it wants no LAN electrics.

I would suggest you testing both routers to see which of the two have the best scope and use that router. I would also suggest you see if within is a cable TV outlet downstairs to connect your cable framework bridge to. It would be difficult to use two wireless routers on like nouns and not cost efficient.
If you haven't purchased the 2nd router all the same, consent to me recommend the D-Link DIR-655. It's a draft 2.0 802.11n type router that have Gigabit Ethernet ports and provides excellent signal catalogue.
You can buy a wireless signal transmitor. It is a device you fix downstairs in a point where on earth the signal is available. That will transmit the signal and build it stronger.
Two routers would conflict and low the signal.
