I hold a wireless router that i bought. I also hold verizon dsl. I tried to take this stupid entity to work but i can't win the wireless restrained to work or even the ethernet cable to present me some online movement. My internet works fine lacking the router. any concept more or less this. i'm frustrated

I suggest you read the directions for the router.
If you do you'll find the wifi element of the router is shipped turned past its sell-by date, this is why you own no night light.
