Everything should be backwards compatable. The mimo equipment should work fine, you might hold to configure the driver to work single within 802.11g mode, but I dont feel it should situation.
You might enjoy to disable any shelter you are using as the mimo might be using a form of WPA that the router does not support.

The 802.11g part of the pack should work. The MIMO subdivision probably won't. Translated...Yes at standard 802.11g speeds...not enhanced speeds.
