What I tight-fisted by my sound out is, can broadband users surf internet while the receiver flash hold no dial tones. A brief explanation more or less broadband function also appreciated. Thanks!

Depends...if its cable internet, yes. If its dsl, no. DSL wants a phone queue to transport the broadband signal to your house. However, you can still use your touchtone phone and dsl at duplicate time as they are different frequencies.
i worked for phone company 41 years,yes the company i worked for have dsl lacking dialtone,you would hold to check your place where on earth you live to see if they proffer it,i am not sure of it,one and only i know the company i worked for did,i probaley 'wired' within the department hundreds of them
