Look at the properties for the IP nouns - if it say to attain the address from the server, later it's using DHCP.

Your TCP/IP properties will be set to attain an IP address automatically. Otherwise, it will be set to manually and in that will be a number typed within.
Control Panel - Network Connections - Check for a Local Area Network Icon - double click on it - Scroll down the document near until you see TCP\IP - double click on it - Make sure "Obtain IP address automatically" is select. That manner it's getting server by a DHCP server.
