Probably want to check next to your provider more or less maximum throughput/month near that service. My guess is that they restraint the total information you can use a month, and/or charge you extra if you step over this boundary. Read the little manuscript on your service agreement. As for your speed probably the cable/dsl setting, even though i dont recommend limewire.
Either t1 or cable should be virtuous.
