Try varying the rut to 11 or 6. Default is 9. You may be experiencing interference from other devices.
Could you provide a short time more information?
Unfortunately you didn't specify what model you have and what wireless router you're using. There's several factor to consider-
*Distance
*Obstructions
*Interferences
*Transmit Rate on the Access Point and/or the Wireless Adapter Not Set to Auto
You mentioned it "happen surrounded by different locations" - of your home or bureau, or be you at wireless hotspot/s (like an internet cafe, hotel or airport)?
If you be at home, receive sure the wireless adapter's settings are like peas in a pod as that of your wireless router. And its best if your SSID (wireless see name) is characteristic, usually by failure to pay it's "linksys" (if you're router is Linksys) or simply "wireless" (Netgear/Dlink?). Also its a correct thought to hold the wireless router or access point in an "expand area" (not below a desk or within a closet contained by your basement).
Also brand sure your wireless adapter is not set to "Adhoc". Oh, and produce sure that you're using just one wireless utility - you may enjoy installed Linksys wireless utility and if you're using XP, the WZC (wireless nought configuration) utility may also be running. Disable one.
If adjectives else come to nothing, try the Linksys techsupport approachable 24/7 - (800) 326-7114.
