I am trying to connect to my work VPN next to XP and everytime I try to connect i procure an error message " Error 742:" The remote computer doesn't support the required information encryption type. I tired varying the information enryption of different type but i didn't manufacture any difference. I am connecting to PPTP to cisco pix

According to Cisco it could possibly be "Encryption Required" is select on the PC, but not on the VPN Concentrator
The PC is set for Encrypted single and the vpdn group 1 ppp encrypt mppe 40 required command is delete from the PIX.
The PC and PIX are not sufficiently expert to agree on encryption and the PC displays this message:
Error 742 : The remote computer does not support the required background encryption type.
