I am modern to home wireless internet and I want to sign a contract for a wireless bundle. I necessitate to know if it possible to use a standard BELKIN 802.11G WIRELESS G 4 PORT ROUTER 54Mbps 2.4G to access ADSL2+ or is it used only for ADSL1. Basically, for ADSL2+ is it ok to buy any belkin wireless router of is in attendance a specific one I should buy? The company I want to sign up near is iinet in Australia.
Answers:
It really depends on exactly which Belkin Router modem you own. Earlier routers no, newer routers yes.
You can check the spec at

I purely poked through the wiki article and didn't see any mention of hot authentication methods so should work only fine. 802.11g maxes at 54mpbs and adsl2+ is in the order of 24mbps so won't event hold a speed drop really.
lately product sure the modem have an ethernet port on it to hook to the wireless router.
Yes a Belkin or any other brand of wireless router will work near ADSL2+ so long as the ADSL2+ meet people bridge provides an Ethernet port.
