Why won't my dell inspiron 6k expand the interent when it say i enjoy an excellent wireless nouns?

I hold a dell inspiron 6000. In my home I hold wireless. My computer say that I hold an excellent nouns to the wireless but when I try to spread out up the internet it say server not found. If my wireless is connected why can't I unscrew up the internet. When I plug my computer into duplicate router the internet works fine.

Answers: First sour, be without doubt sure that it's your OWN wireless you're connected to. Windows have a funny need of getting misconfigured on the wireless settings and a short time ago connecting to the first strong signal it finds unless you speak about it differently.

You inevitability to budge into the wireless lattice browse account and be sure that your make friends is given priority at the top so that it doesn't try connecting to another close access point instead.

If that's not it, you might hold some DNS server issues. Something incorrectly enter or gone at the rear from another exchange cards or installation, possibly?

Interesting that it works on the wired nouns. First point I'd check contained by that bag (provided that you're on the right network) is the DNS server info.

When it's working on the Wired network, run IPCONFIG /ALL from a command prompt and write down the DNS server information.

Reconnect to wireless and run matching command. See if anything looks different.

Your subsequent troubleshooting steps depend on the outcome of those two steps.

Update if you can.

Good luck!
