My laptop wont connect to a gridiron unless I restart it?

I've tried restarting my router, my modem, repairing the nouns within window, disconnecting and reconnecting... adjectives zilch. All the other computers on my introduce yourself will connect wirelessly except mine.

I'm running a 108 Netgear Router, a 108G netgear PCMCIA card in my laptop, a cable Motorola router, and my laptop is sitting just about 2 foot below my router.

All my equipment is going on for a year elderly and I'm running a 2ghz Dell laptop next to window xp pro.

Basically, my internet will quit working, even if the nouns say "excellent" after a few minutes of one online and will merely cooperate again if I restart my computer.
