I enjoy window xp within 1 hedge and window 2003 server on 2nd fence. Can i configure 2003 as domain controller near helpful directory installed and made users in it and assign permissions to them .can these users hold indistinguishable okay when they log on from xp.How can I do this?

NO. If you setup 2 operation systems on 1 hardware system, you can simply nouns 1 at a time. So how is XP going to see the DC if it is not even running?
Go look up VMWARE, you could create a virtual server and a virtual desktop, and enjoy them both running on duplicate hardware.
