I lately bought a Spectra wi-fi card, but my dad doesn't know/approve. He runs a Windows XP near a simple linksys router. What are th possible ways that he could know I'm online/what I'm doing? Obviously excluding any $200+ software. I don't even want him to see that this IP address is on the net. Thanks!

Your dad wont beable to see what your doing as long as he have not put any spying software on your ipaq, but in attendance is no style to cast a shadow on your MAC address on the routers collateral logs stating that you connected to the router.
You have better hope your dad is not smart satisfactory to amount out how to use MAC filter on his router as that would stop you from connecting at adjectives.
Whats your dads email? :))
