i Went through the printer sharing article surrounded by XP the computer the printer is hooked up to and it told me to insert a disk and gather a database i put the disk within the mac but the mac does not pinch the directory format so my set up
printer hooked to the XP desktop
a netgear router beside a MAC laptop on a wireless conection
is in attendance anyway to print from the mac near out buying anything extra?

Just plug the printer into your Mac or allow sharing thru System Prefs
