I enjoy a SpeedTouch USB modem which worked faultlessly fine on XP
I not long purchased a up to date PC next to VISTA and it no longer recognises my modem.
The SpeedTouch website give a driver to download and i enjoy followed their instructions. I return with the 2 green lights
which medium the modem is set up but VISTA tell me it cant locate the hardware :(
Has anyone have this issue and get it resolved short buying a investigational modem
If a exotic modem is the best solution which would u recommend?

For Vista you are better stale getting a router, this requests no drivers and eliminate the problem of poor Vista driver support.
i enjoy no clue that didn't arise to mine, mine be reliable try asking the profecinals
if u enjoy that usb speedtouch point a moment ago throw it out, lol... have seriously of problems. buy a Linksys adsl router instead, it's some 60 usd but worth adjectives the price.
you will stipulation to be in motion to speedtouch website and download vista drivers if they are available even so. If they aren't best piece to do is buy a router next to built surrounded by modem
I'm sorry to recount you this but, Vista is unwanted items and I would step down to the computer store and downgrade unless you enjoy your heart set on Vista (halo 2 perchance?). If you want or NEED Vista I would grasp a simple Cisco Etherfast modem and a couple of network cable, Sorry if I didn't minister to much.
