Anyone know how to hook up a netgear wireless router to a laptop?

I am trying to hook up my different laptop to use my exsisting dsl on my desktop. For some drive in attendance be no installation cd beside my netgear wirless router. It say to look online for installation. Unfortunatley the directions for my model are not clear at all. I am simply trying to capture the supporting setup for which wires travel where on earth. I hold an ethernet cale running from my existing dsl modem to the stern of my computer near a dsl phone cable from a wall jack to the put money on of the exsisting modem.


Answers: simple connect the Ethernet cable from the router to the Ethernet port on the laptop other cable connect to the port flawed DSL and the other cessation of that cable to the phonr strip outlet own your self a isp dont use AOL nearby cap the speed of the user and still asking for elevated price

I have a similar problem. Just call upon the Netgear tech support and someone surrounded by India will answer your request for information.
first install the software ( that you don't enjoy, sorry).
You gotta own the software B4 you connect it.

Turn bad or unplug your modem
ethernet cable from modem
to router 'internet' port.
ethernet cable from any LAN on router
to computer ethernet port.
