i lost my password to my password protected router and the computer is asking me for this first. please help

If you made it up, sorry, you gotta reset the router and start from chisel. If someone else made it up, ask them.
Ok the two things you're chitchat more or less are different. The wep switch is the push button used to connect to the wireless nouns. The password to the router is to login to the router to tweaking the setup of the router.
If you're not sure of the wep push button, later you'll hold to reset it, and if you can't remember the password to login to the router, you'll requirement to reset the router to it's factory default.
You can do this by usually inserting a pen or pencil into the support of the router where on earth the reset button is and holding it for in the order of 3 secs.
It'll reboot and everything should be wager on to factory default, which system no wep enabled, defaul self and password to login to the router, etc.
Your wep switch should be on your router, any beneath or on the posterior, it will be written on a sticker sign.
