You haven't provided satisfactory information roughly what you are trying to do... the program you;re using make no difference f for instance you are trying to ftp a record somewhere... or email a report...
Any wallet can be sent over the internet inmany different ways / or using many different protocols... if you are building a website later usually you would ftp your files onto the domain hosting site... some programs close to frontpage automatically start the ftp process when you click publish. but it is still doing matching item that you could do near any ftp program.
So if you are trying to upload a directory to your own website next ftp it.
