I'm using a Belkin router near gateway xxx.xxx.x.1 on cable. My desktop is assigned xxx.xxx.x.2 and my wireless laptop assigned xxx.xxx.x.3 I own set my router to forward ports for the kids using Azureus on the desktop and I use Utorrent on my laptop forwarding different ports ( to avoid congestion if both are running simultaneously). If I use my laptop lacking the desktop person connected to the router, my laptop logs on as xxx.xxx.x.2 (i.e. the desktop) and obviously cannot find the forwarding ports as a result. Anybody get suggestions how to bring back out of this conundrum as like peas in a pod happen if I log on 1st and the desktop second!!
