nopt sure if fiber optic is the right article I be looking for but what are the differences

DSL -Slowest of the three but cheapest
Cable Modem - 100X faster than DSL more expensive
Fiber optic - VERY expensive but is comparable to T1 and T3 (the lone one I know that offer fiber optic to home is Verizon)
Go for cable, you will never call for anything faster for in a minute. DSL is almost outdated and Fiber Optic is hugely expensive
DSL is connected to the phone row, Cable is connected to your Cable, and I don't know what Fiber-Optic is.
dsl = damned slow connect.
cable modem = pretty fast
firberoptics when fully utilized =holy freaking batcaves fast
Verizon FIoS isn't that expensive. I love it.

DSL uses existing phone lines and is dyed-in-the-wool.
Cable is SHARED BANDWIDTH between you and everyone within your nouns, something these other guys poor to mention. so... if you enjoy 50 other population surrounded by your nouns next to cable and a bunch of you are online at once, guess what. SLOW!
Fiber Optic is great! expensive but skilled of greater distances and speed than dsl or cable. kinda tough to find an ISP in my assessment but thats alright, its probably too much for any practical home environment.
i recommend DSL because its loyal and the bandwidth is other at hand, purely for you.
