I of late purchased a d-link wbr 2310 router to share the internet nouns on my desktop to my laptop. both computers can in a minute connect to the internet no problem. however, i notice that when i try downloading big files (50 MB up) the download never finishes and stays at around 50%. One time it single downloaded 4%. I be competent to finish downloading a 20 MB directory but that be the biggest record i could download. I thought this be individual on the laptop but like peas in a pod article also happen to my desktop. This have never happen since i installed the router so something must be wrong beside my setting or setup. router firmware is updated but it didn't aid. Any design on this?. Thank you.

Log into the routers settings.
Under the advanced tab select advanced Netork and construct sure the "Enable Multicast Stream" is enabled.
Also product sure the WAN port speed is set to auto.
Thats going on for adjectives it could be besides imprecise firmware.
