A wireless USB Adapter, or a Wireless PCI Adapter for a desktop?
Which do you imagine works better for home use?

Performance remains impossible to tell apart for both. Once you progress for a USB change - u are other not here near an widen luck to use it for a laptop (for universal communication)
USB is better, in my judgment, since PCI cards placed around the spinal column of the computer have signal issues (the metal armour of the CPu interferes beside the wireless transmissions). I've see cases where on earth a customer can't receive a signal beside a PCI card, and when they switch to USB, the problem is gone. Also, since USB adapters own flexible wires, you can glibly place them at plain spaces for better signal strengths, unlike PCI adapters.
