If you enjoy a wireless router specifically connected to the printer you can dispatch print job from any printer, wirelessly. For us, we do not hold a wireless sender/receiver for the printer itself (they do spawn those). Our HP 6100 (mediocre printer/scanner from a few years ago) is connected to an Airport Extreme Base Station. Either of our laptops can 'see' the printer as mortal available via this router (from which we draw our wireless network access, etc. as well) and we can print. If we want to scan from the printer, we own to bypass the router (Base Station) and plug the printer directly into the laptop (I do not know why this cut exists). Good luck.
